Maria A. Darpino, Esq.
Excellence in Elder Law and Elder Care Planning
 Maria A. Darpino focuses exclusively in the practice of elder law, elder care planning and asset protection. She is a frequent
speaker on elder law topics, particularly for the Alzheimer’s Association and a member of The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys,
the nation’s preeminent professional organization for elder law attorneys.
Prior to private practice, Maria held numerous leadership positions in major corporations including GE and Lockheed Martin Corporation.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, summa cum laude, from Temple University in 1974 at which time she was inducted
into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She graduated from Temple Law School in 1981.
Maria is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
Maria and her husband of 30 years, Henry M. Levandowski, are the co-founders of Levandowski and Darpino, LLC. Henry and
Maria have hand-selected their mature and highly experienced staff members and they pride themselves on operating a family-oriented practice
that provides caring and compassionate service to their clients.
Maria and Henry's family-focus benefits from having raised a family themselves. Their daughter, Audrey, is a May, 2008, graduate of The George Washington University Elliott School of International Affairs in Washington, D.C. For the next two years, Audrey will teach in the School District of Philadelphia as a participant in the Teach for America program while also pursuing a graduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania.
In her free time, Maria enjoys Pilates classes and scrapbooking.
