The Elder Care Plan

Elder Care Planning places special emphasis on issues surrounding quality of life.  Personalized to your unique situation, your Elder Care Plan addresses your concerns about long-term care as you go through the later stages of your life.  At the Elder Centered Law Practice of Levandowski and Darpino, LLC, we use our knowledge and expertise to create your Elder Care Plan.  We will be with you and your loved ones every step of the way, ensuring you make the right choices to give you the best quality of life possible.

What an Elder Care Plan Includes

Depending on your needs, your Elder Care Plan will include some or all of the following services:

  • Legal Services to protect your assets, coordinate public and private resources to pay for long-term care, and preserve family wealth for future generations.
  • Advocacy Services to help you get the highest quality healthcare and long-term care.
  • Care Coordnation Services by experts who do whatever is necessary to protect and promote your quality of life.

Once an Elder Care Plan is in place, it is a living document that changes along with your needs.

Benefits: Quality of Life and Affordable, Quality Care

There are three principal benefits of the Elder Care Plan that we help you develop and implement:

  1. We help you get quality care, whether that care is at home or outisde the traditional home setting such as an assisted-living facility, or, if it should be necessary, a nursing home.  This is the most important of all goals, for it goes to the very heart of your quality of life in your later years.  Your Elder Care Plan is focused first on your good health, safety, and well-being.
  2. We help you make decisions relating to your health care, long-term care, and special needs.  It is a comfort and a relief to our clients and their families to know that they always have a resource of experienced, supportive, knowledgeable, and objective advisors with them every step of the way.
  3. We help you find sources to pay for good care, and we will help you spend your money wisely and prudently on your care needs.  We help protect and preserve the assets you have accumulated during a lifetime of hard work, thrifty behavior, and astute investment decision-making.  We work with you through the maze of choices and options to find the best solution to the asset protection problem created by the need to pay for quality long-term care.
